Journey of the steel beams for DUNE

Millions of pounds of steel are heading underground for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment! ⏬ Contributed by @CERN over 2,500 unique steel beams are making an epic journey to Sanford Underground Research Facility (@SanfordlabOrg). Each piece is carefully lowered one mile underground to create the massive cryostats that will hold the DUNE far detectors.
